The Best Day Ever!

Squirt you rock! I was driving this morning to Three Rivers, Michigan for MEAP tests. I was bummed about staying in a crappy hotel and hadn't even gotten there yet. On the way there, I felt a stirring in my belly. At first I thought something was wrong. Then it happened a few more times. It didn't hurt, it just felt strange. It was like a tickle feeling on the inside of my belly! It felt like a quick little cramp, but it fluttered back and forth and I could only feel it on my left side of my belly. I was so excited to feel you today! You were moving and kicking the entire trip! It was awesome! It was so surreal to feel you! I love you so much and can't wait for Kent to be able to feel you too! 

16 weeks!

Squirt, it has been a wonderful journey so far! You are really starting to grow, and I am finally starting to show. No more looking like I just ate a big meal! It's wonderful! I can't wait to feel more movement! I love singing to my belly (sorry for the terrible singing!) and reading too! It's hard to believe that it has already been 16 weeks! We are almost half way there! In four weeks, we will find out if you are a boy or a girl. To me it doesn't matter, I just want you to be a healthy baby! Yesterday, I ran to Babies R Us, while Kent was on a boys weekend with (soon to be) Uncle Dan and Uncle Joseph. I spent two hours going up and down the isles registering for all of the fun things for you in a few months. It was amazing how many choices there are, from which type of bottle, to which type of fabric, there are so many choices. I tried to find the safest of all the items and go with that. I showed Kent the registry when he came home and he's excited too. It's a little overwhelming how much stuff will soon fill our house, but it is truly wonderful to be expanding :) We love you lots!
