Braxton Hicks

Well Squirt, we are getting close. Kent and I were getting ready for dinner yesterday when I felt for the first time what I think are braxton hicks contractions. I had two while getting ready, and then another while eating dinner at our favorite Soup Spoon restaurant. They were scary because I'd never felt them, but to be honest they really were not that bad. It felt like my belly tightened and then relaxed just as quickly. It's a strange feeling to know that we are getting close now. I'm so excited to have you here, definitely nervous for labor, but the thought of you being here with us is very exciting and gets me through even my worst pregnancy pain. I'll be honest it's really been an easy pregnancy. Minor pain and exhaustion but overall it's been a wonderful journey. I can't believe that it is really coming to an end. The past 35 weeks have been so wonderful and I look forward to our next step becoming your parents.
