So excited for the first day of school!

I'm so excited for the first day of school it's crazy! I keep thinking about what grades (hopefully only 1 - fingers crossed!) and what the schedule will look like for this fall. I'm excited for finding out the students in my class, and the teachers that will be new, and the role I will play as a mentor teacher. I'm excited to be training and technology reps, pre-assess my students, plan our lessons. It's really hard to believe that it all begins in two weeks!

I will miss spending the day with my wonderful puppy, she has enjoyed me being home all day with her. It's almost like she knows I'm going back soon and she is extra attached to me and follows me around with this look like "really why would you ever leave me!" Crazy pup.

It's been fun this summer working on projects around the house, but it will be nice to get back on a schedule. I am always more productive when I'm busy. Somehow, when there is way too much to do, I find the time and make sure it gets done. Instead of like now, I have all the time in the world over the summer, so I'm not really motivated to get things done. Maybe next summer I'll have something to keep me on a stricter schedule ;)
